The Nebraska Farm Bureau is reaching for the stars. The agricultural group reached an agreement to provide high-speed broadband to farmers and ranchers across the state.
Starlink Service aims to provide trustworthy internet access for people in rural communities and will reach the last areas of the state still without connection. One resident says it will help avoid regulatory issues and the high cost of traditional internet installations.
The Starlink kit can be mailed to residents directly and only takes a few minutes to install. With reliable internet, farmers can stay connected in the fields and even use sensors for collecting data to better their crops.
