New Jersey Representative Josh Gottheimier is continuing the fight for electric vehcile manufacturers to include AM radios in their vehicles.
He says despite the public safety uses of AM radio, many manufacturers have stopped putting them in the vehicles. AM radio provides emergency-alert and warning information to the public during major natural disasters and domestic threats.
He is writing to all major manufacturers asking them to reconsider their decision.
