New Layer of Soil: Tennessee Extension is helping Hurricane Helene aftermath on farms

Many farmers in upper East Tennessee are still dealing with the damage caused by floods from Hurricane Helene. On many farms, heavy deposits of sediment washed into fields, measuring several feet deep in some spots.

University of Tennessee’s Institute of Agriculture is helping people impacted by this weather disaster.
