Dr. Joe McClure spent his entire career as a medical doctor. For many years he and his wife Annetta made maple syrup on their family farm, and he even wrote a song that his friends Loretta Lynn & Conway Twitty recorded.
McClure can now add selecting a new peach variety to his list of accomplishments.
