President Trump addressed the American Farm Bureau Federation’s 99th Annual Convention, Monday, January 8th in Nashville, Tenn. RFD-TV, The Cowboy Channel, and RURAL RADIO Channel 147 on SiriusXM provided complete coverage of the day’s events, including President Donald Trump’s address to the American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF) LIVE from the Annual Convention in Nashville, Tennessee. Immediately following the Presidential address, RFD-TV had a TELEVISION EXCLUSIVE one-on-one interview with President Trump. “The American Farm Bureau Federation is honored to host our nation’s president,” said AFBF President Zippy Duvall, a beef and poultry farmer from Georgia. “President Trump has said all along that he would make sure agriculture has a seat at the table when it comes to the top issues facing America’s farmers and ranchers. Now, it is our privilege to reserve a spot for him at our podium.”
The annual convention for the American Farm Bureau was held from Jan 6-10 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Convention Center and included more than 7,500 farmers, suppliers, and industry leaders in the agriculture industry. This was Trump’s second visit to Tenn. after taking office in 2017. This will also be the first president to address the AFBF convention since George H.W. Bush in the 90’s.
“Farmers and ranchers and our rural communities are the bedrock of our nation. President Trump knows that, and his willingness to devote his time to talk directly with Farm Bureau members will be a memorable occasion,” Duvall said.
