The Canadian Pacific Kansas City Railroad is seeing grain movement pick up.
Harvest activities are wrapping up across the prairies and the railway says that in the past month, they have seen an 18 percent increase in volume.
In the seventh week of the new crop year, more than 500,000 metric tons have been moved to market for Vancouver and U.S. destinations.
The railway says that they are ready to keep up with demand.
