Country trailblazer and Kentucky native JD Shelburne is back on the scene with another holiday favorite, “Winter Wonderland.”

Give It A Listen

According to JD: “Growing up in Kentucky and loving Christmas music, ‘Winter Wonderland’ was always a family favorite and on my playlist each Christmas. When it came time to record here in Nashville and look through options for holiday music, I knew this song was at the top of my list. So many greats have recorded it through the years. One of the most popular Christmas songs, this version of ‘Winter Wonderland’ (printed in 1947) included a ‘new children’s lyric” that transformed it ‘from a romantic winter interlude to a seasonal song about playing in the snow’ according to research.”

The song’s album cover is also very sentimental. It is a picture of JD and his brother building a snowman in 1988.

His latest project, Neon Hallelujah, is out now!
