His team tells the Des Moines Register that he is being treated for an infection. He is receiving antibiotic infusions and is said to be in good spirits. His team said he will return to work as soon as he can.
Senator Grassley is 90 years old and a major voice for agriculture. He won his first election in 1980 and has been re-elected seven times.
