U.S. potato exports reached a record of $2.1 billion dollars in sales last year. While volume sales declined 4%, export value rose across all potato types, resulting in an 11% increase from the previous year.
CEO of Potatoes USA, Blair Richardson spoke with RFD-TV’s own Tammi Arender on what the contributing factors are, the top markets, and what challenges producers were facing.
