South Dakota’s crops are feeling the impact of heat and drought

Drought and extreme heat conditions are being felt in the High Plains. Monte James with Your Ag Network brings us a boots-on-the-ground update from the Tri State Area of South Dakota.

The latest drought monitor definitely reflects that 104 degree weather. The map shows South Dakota mostly covered in yellows and oranges, meaning abnormal to severe drought.
