Wisconsin State Journal reports that UW-Madison will appear during the Super Bowl thanks to a dog who survived cancer and his appreciative owner.
The UW-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine will be featured in a 30-second commercial that will air during the second quarter of the big game.

Company CEO David MacNeil was told his dog, Scout, had aggressive cancer on his hear that left him with less than a month to live. That is when MacNeil was recommended to UW Veterinary Care.
They were able to stabilize Scout’s condition and came up with a plan of attack. In the commercial, that Scout is featured in, some of the faculty and staff that helped the canine will be shown alongside him.
The 30-second Super Bowl commercial is going to cost around $5.2 million and will draw more than 100 million viewers according to Nielsen Media Research.
