Agricultural land value rose for the first time since 2014 in the State of Nebraska, according to a study from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
The statewide average rose 3 percent to $2,650 per acre, the highest since it was $3,315 per acre in 2014.
The survey also revealed that dryland cropland values rose between 3 and 4 percent, which was about the rate that center pivot irrigated cropland rose as well.
Additionally, grazing land and hayland value estimates rose between 2 and 5 percent year-over-year.
Major cow-calf pair regions led the increase in market values, with growth in those areas between 6 and 8 percent.
