The poultry sector is facing another price fixing lawsuit.
Restaurant chain Boston Market claims 10 poultry companies including Pilgrim’s Pride, Tyson, and Perdue Farms manipulated supplies to increase prices.
Boston Market says that the alleged scheme cost the company millions of dollars in overcharges between 2009 and 2017.
The company wants a grand jury trial in Illinois.
The suit follows separate indictments of four current and former poultry executives on price fixing charges.
