Despite EPA’s recent changes to the dicamba label, concern still looms regarding the herbicides volatility.
Iowa State Extension weed specialist, Dr. Rob Hartzler speaks with RFD-TV’s own Tammi Arender on the changes, speculation on the volatilization of the herbicide, and the biggest issues when it comes to volatilization.
“The biggest change is that all the formulations will require a volatility reduction agent, and that’s always been one of the biggest concerns is the ability of dicamba to get up a move afterward. I think a lot of us still have questions about how effective that will be, and if volatility is not solved that’s going to be a continued problem,” Dr. Hartzler states.
