Ag leaders anticipate the next Farm Bill will be more climate-centric.
The president of the Iowa Soybean Association tells Brownfield Ag News that he sees legislation focusing specifically on carbon sequestration which could mean resources for things like cover crops, no-till, and strip farming.
Jeff Jorgenson says farmers are “essentially getting more informed on the bill, but we also have to put the message out there of what they’re doing in agriculture and how they take care of the land we produce on.”
