Spring planting is well underway in parts of the country, and as you gear up, we are bringing you updates from the field.
Rita Herford of Gentner Bischer Farms speaks with RFD-TV’s own Janet Adkison on her planting progress, current conditions in her area, and future hurdles she is keeping an eye out for.
“We started planting sugar beets last week; we got about a quarter of our acres in. It’s early but not uncommonly early. Then at the end of the week, we got about an inch of rain that put everything in a standstill, maybe by the weekend, things will air out enough to get back in the fields,” Herford states.
