Alabama farmers face a daunting situation this spring and summer-- human-sized wasps nests!
They are actually becoming pretty common.
Entomologists say that these “super nests” are happening because of a global spike in temperature. The giant nests store 15,000 yellow jackets and can become several feet wide and high.
Some are the size of cars.
If you come across one, do not disturb the nests, and keep your distance. Entomologists say to call a licensed pest control company.
