Farmland values are back near their 2014 peak, as prices have taken a sizable jump over the past six months.
Randy Dickhut with Farmers National Company speaks with RFD-TV’s own Janet Adkison on ag land prices, the driving trends, and how they compare to 2014 numbers.
“We’ve seen a very active farmland market with pretty aggressive buyers starting in the fall and kind of escalating on through the winter,” he explains. “After the turn of the calendar into 2021, competitive bidding is sure happening to drive or propel land auctions or even private treaty listing prices into levels that we haven’t seen since around 2013 and 2014 timeframe.”
