NASDA, AFBF, and NCBA ask EPA to suspend action on WOTUS rule

Many leading ag groups are asking the EPA to suspend action on the Waters of the U.S. Rule.

The National Association of State Departments of Agriculture, along with the American Farm Bureau and National Cattlemen’s Beef Association, have expressed significant concern for the current WOTUS rule.

The group says that it will revert to the past regulation that ignored states’ roles in regulating clean water. The group urged the agency and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to suspend action on the rule-making until the Supreme Court gives guidance.
