An Israeli farmer has grown the Guinness World Record’s biggest strawberry!
It is about five times the average weight of a regular berry at seven inches long and thirteen inches wide. The farmer attributes it to an unusually cold weather early last year. That slowed the ripening process, allowing the berry to continue gaining weight.
He says that it is an amazing feeling and says that he had been waiting on the Guinness confirmation for a long time.
