Ag Safety Awareness Week is officially underway!
American Farm Bureau partners with the U.S. Ag Safety and Health Centers to focus on keeping you, your family, friends, and employees safe on your farm. The federation’s Member Engagement Director says that it is an open dialogue to improve farm safety.
“We really take this week to focus on ways to improve farm practices so that we reduce the number of accidents and just create a network to have open communication between Farm Bureau safety and health professionals and volunteers to share resources,” Carrie Walker states.
This year’s theme is “Prepare, Prevent, Protect.”
