Ukraine is banning exports of some grains like rye, barley, buckwheat, sugar, salt and meat.
They will not resume for the rest of the year, but the country is accepting export licenses for wheat, corn and sun-oil, despite its ports being closed. The phytosanitary certificates will be issued within 24 hours of being requested. Before the war, Ukraine hoped to export more than 60 million tons of grain this marketing year. So far, it has shipped 43 million tons.
