Oregon farmworkers will soon receive overtime pay. The state House and Senate have now passed the legislation.
Employees will be eligible for time and a half pay after 55 hours.
In 2025, the threshold drops to 48 hours, then 40 hours by 2027.
Oregon is the eighth state to offer overtime compensation for farmworkers.
