Iowa Hit With Avian Flu in Same County for Third Time This Month

High Pathogenic Avian Influenza has made its way to Iowa again in a commercial turkey flock.

This marks their third case in the same county since the beginning of the month. The first was in a turkey flock, and the second in a flock of laying hens.

The virus has killed more than 10 million hens across the country this year, and Iowa officials are still concerned this could be worse than what we saw back in 2015.
