If you were hoping for any nearby relief in fertilizer prices, you are going to be let down.
The DAP category is now at the highest level in the history of DTN’s analysis.
The phosphorus fertilizer was 17 percent more expensive compared to last month and is now more than $1,000 dollars a ton. Potash was 15 percent higher on the month, and MAP was up 12 percent.
10-34-0, urea, and UAN28 were all up considerably as well.
DTN considers any increase above 5 percent to be considerable.
