Avian influenza has now been confirmed in three more states.
It was found in a commercial chicken flock in Pennsylvania and a backyard flock in Utah. Idaho has confirmed it in multiple domestic chicken flocks. That brings the total number of states to 29, with more than 25 million birds culled since February.
USDA is working with other countries on options for vaccines.
