Farmers might get more profit from corn than soybeans this year

Corn is projected to be more profitable than soybeans this year.

That is according to an analysis by agriculture economists at the University of Illinois who say strong prices still outweigh fertilizer costs.

Dr. Gary Schnitkey spoke with RFD-TV’s own Suzanne Alexander about if agriculture input prices are playing a role in the projection, if the war in Ukraine is a factor and if we can expect a similar situation for the rest of the country.
