President Biden considers releasing federal diesel fuel reserves, but where is it coming from?

Farmers along the East Coast are painfully aware of an impending diesel shortage.

President Biden is now considering a release of diesel reserves and we are learning where that fuel would come from.

The White House says it has drafted an emergency declaration that would allow for the quick release of one million barrels of diesel if necessary. The fuel would actually come from the Northeast home heating oil reserve. It has only been tapped once, which was after Hurricane Sandy.

Tuesday on Cow Guy Close, an analyst told us he does not believe it will have a significant impact, similar to how gas prices have continued to increase since the release from the petroleum reserve.
