Two Midwestern states are ready to invest millions in their farmers.
In Minnesota, a bill providing $15 million to producers over the next three years is on the governor’s desk. It will be allocated for vet equipment to test for Avian Influenza and other diseases, along with money to replace seedlings killed by drought.
Over in Wisconsin, the governor announced he is using $10 million from the pandemic recovery fund to establish a new meat and poultry supply chain resiliency grant program.
