It is a bipartisan effort to write the 2023 Farm Bill.
Senator Debbie Stabenow will be joining Senator John Boozman for a field hearing on June 17th at Arkansas State University. Their aim is to gather input from farmers and ranchers on best how to improve U.S. agriculture policy; this follows their first hearing recently held in Michigan.
In an announcement about the hearing, Stabenow said, “Our last Farm Bill passed with the most bipartisan support ever. The bipartisan tradition of holding field hearings provides crucial information as we begin the process of writing a new bill.”
