Actor, director, and producer Clinton Eastwood Jr. was born on May 31, 1930, in San Francisco, California. As a young child, he bounced around California with his family and would eventually be drafted into the Army.
In 1954 Eastwood had his first true audition for Six Bridges to Cross. However, he did not get his first role until 1955’s Revenge of the Creature. Three years later he would get his breakthrough role with Rawhide and the rest was history.
He acted, directed, produced, or composed for more than 50 films. His career would include classics like Dirty Harry, Gran Torino, Unforgiven, Million Dollar Baby, The Outlaw Josey Wales, Bronco Billy, and High Plains Drifter.
