U.S. corn growers are feeling the pressure to help meet global food supply needs as the war in Ukraine continues. Now, the National Corn Growers Association is calling on the White House to help with skyrocketing input costs.
At Corn Congress, the group emphasized, “The ability to address the crises facing our world today in a sustainable manner cannot be achieved without fair access to the inputs necessary to raise a crop each year, including pesticides, fertilizer, and biotechnology seeds.”
This comes as the EPA revised its atrazine registration, which could restrict access to yet another critical crop protection tool.
