On Monday, a tractor-trailer was hauling 70 head of cattle down the Florida Turnpike. When the cab began to catch fire, the driver had to take action.
He was able to pull over to the side of the road and quickly let the cows loose to escape the danger.
The fire department was able to handle the fire. According to the highway patrol, no one was injured and the driver stayed on the scene. However, there were a few traffic hiccups as the cows were recovered, both north and southbound lanes were closed for around four hours.
Officials have not stated what caused the fire.
