The Golden State is facing one of the largest fires of the year. Fueled by the extreme heat and drought, the Oak Fire is currently zero percent contained and on a fast track to the Yosemite National Park. The fire began over the weekend and grew by more than 2,000 acres just overnight.
So far, more than 15,000 acres have been consumed. Governor Newsom has declared a state of emergency, forcing more than 3,000 people to evacuate.
