Analysts believe the U.S. is on track to make 1 million barrels or more of ethanol per day again, and it could begin this week. They are forecasting daily production to be anywhere from more than 950,000 barrels per day to 1 million.
This is despite the metal ethanol barrels falling victim to supply chain woes, causing production delays. Last week, the U.S. produced about 983,000 barrels of ethanol a day.
