Iowa is urging farmers to place their propane orders now for the upcoming winter.
The state’s Secretary of Agriculture, Mike Naig, says farmers and businesses should evaluate how much grain drying and heating they will need and suppliers should make plans to accommodate an increased demand in propane. This is an effort to avoid any shortages during an already tight time.
The National Propane Gas Association has developed a checklist to use as you make plans for inventories and you can find that HERE.
