While persistent drought is impacting farms across the country, it is also having ripple effects on aquaculture. Efforts are now underway here in Tennessee to help both farmers and endangered fish.
Dr. Bernie Kuhajda with the Tennessee Aquarium Conservation Institute spoke with RFD-TV’s own Suzanne Alexander on how drought is impacting streams, the fish they are keeping an eye on, and the importance of saving these species.
