Thank Your Ag Teacher Today!

Happy Ag Teacher Appreciation Day! FFA members are showing what their wise old owls mean to them. The National FFA Southern Region Vice President, Erik Robinson, shares his ag teacher story.

All week, be sure to hashtag #FFAWeek to see how chapters are celebrating. You can even share your own FFA story about your ag teacher today!

We also highlight one of our favorite ag teachers, Ty Weaver. He’s an ag teacher at Dickson County High School in Tennessee and husband to one of our Market Day Report producers, Amber Weaver! Ty is a first-year teacher in Agri-science ag shop class and plant science. He oversaw the addition of a new livestock barn on the school’s property with the support of the community to create more hands-on learning opportunities for students. Ty loves all things FFA and it definitely shows!
