A federal advisory panel recommends people, age 75 and older, and essential workers be next in line for the COVID-19 vaccine. Those essential workers include the food, agriculture, and manufacturing sectors.
Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s Dr. Kip Talbot speaks with RFD-TV’s own Janet Adkison on these recommendations, health speculations, differences between the Moderna and the Pfizer vaccine, and what rural residents need to keep in mind.
According to Dr. Talbot, “It’s incredibly effective and so, we’re hoping this will help us turn the corner... we have been working very hard to balance the need to maintain our infrastructure and our society and those at highest risk of disease and dying. So, it’s been a little bit of a balancing game.”
