The power of AI simulations can help the globe’s producers feed and clothe the world

Farmers have a tremendous responsibility with feeding and clothing the world. To help them produce the best crops as efficiently as possible, one company is harnessing the power of artificial intelligence to create different growing simulations.

According to Sourge.ag’s Rien Kamman, “This is our mission to create a virtual reliable copy of the operation and the biology, specifically of the crop that the grower is using. We constantly update and maintain that, and if something happens, then our AI simulates different potential strategies for different potential seasons to determine the best course of action.”

Kamman tells AgInfo.net his goal is to help growers worldwide. Source.ag began working with farmers in Euripe, but has since branched out to places like the U.S.

Technology has found a permanent place in agriculture in several different areas. Industry analysts say that precision ag, drones, automation, and vertical farming have all made large contributions to the industry.
