The U.S. and Europe are developing Avian Influenza vaccines to protect poultry and dairy workers, veterinarians, and lab technicians.
According to Reuters, this comes after a second U.S. human case was confirmed. The CDC says public risk is low, with no evidence of human-to-human transmission.
Efforts include contracts with major vaccine manufacturers to enhance preparedness.
