Traders will be closely watching wheat numbers in the coming weeks. Russia is having troubles with production, which is expected to impact prices globally.

Economists at CoBank say global wheat supplies are expected to tighten. Estimates are down across the board, and they warn the situation does not look like it will improve. They told Brownfield Ag News a smaller crop could mean extreme market volatility and warned producers not to be complacent.

They are also watching for that volatility to spill over into corn and soybeans but say weather will likely have the largest impact in the United States.
