USDA’s APHIS recently finalized its newest approach to animal ID, which keeps records of farm animals, so that they can be easily tracked from their birth through the marketing chain.
However, it is causing some concern for cattle producers.
Roger McEowen of the Washburn School of Law spoke with RFD-TV’s own Suzanne Alexander on what the final rule entails, the cost to producers, and what to expect moving forward.
