The 77th annual Arkansas Farm Family of the Year program announced its eight district farm families, representing the diverse scope of Arkansas agriculture, the state’s largest industry.
Tim and Michelle Daniels of Clark County, one of the finalist families, were chosen as the West Central Farm Family of the Year. They have raised cattle and grown hay on their 1,179-acre operation, Fourty Farms in Amity, Ark., for 20 years.
Judges will visit farms to determine the Arkansas Farm Family of the Year, which will be announced on Dec. 13.
