Spring planting is well underway in parts of the United States, and as you gear up your planters, we are bringing you updates from the field.
Matthew Poe of Poe Farms speaks with RFD-TV on how planting is going, current conditions in his area, and if there are any hurdles to be seen in the future.
“I would say that we’re pretty well saturated right now. Some of our beds... are drying up, but other than that we are wet... not much fieldwork is going on,” Poe explains.
He goes on to note a few future hurdles, “We’ve been blessed with some good markets here in the last couple of months, but I know cotton, in particular, started to take a downturn, and weather always is a bad problem here...”
