USDA is helping with the distribution of the COVID vaccine

USDA is helping to distribute COVID vaccines across the country. Nearly 130 personnel have been deployed to date.

That includes more than 60 forest service employees who were recently assigned to the National COVID Vaccine Campaign.

They are staffing vaccination centers, providing logistical support, and working with FEMA at the regional and state level. The Animal Health Inspection Service also sent employees to mobile pop up clinics in Nevada, Oklahoma, and Washington state.
