Wildfires have now burned more than 810,000 acres in Wyoming in 2024

Wildfires in Wyoming have taken a toll on rural communities across the state, with the Elk Fire impacting nearly 100,000 acres.
Fortunately, recent rain and snow have significantly slowed the flames.

Sherri Weins with the Wyoming Farm Service Agency spoke with RFD-TV’s own Tammi Arender on current conditions, the impact on ag communities, and assistance programs.
